Application process began yesterday and I don't see a thread for it yet.  This is for the location in Pleasanton CA.

RN Residency Program Timeline:

June 30-July 19, 2023: Applications accepted

August 16-18, 2023: Interviews

October 2, 2023: Residency Begins

 

Did anyone else receive a thank you email and their unit changed on the application site?

My status is still the same and haven't received an email. When did you guys get these emails?

thank you! I didn't receive a thank you email but yes, my status on my job portal changed to the specific unit I applied to

@babysushi how did you prepare for your interview? Do you have any advice for those who might try for next cohort?

Honestly, previous practice with interviews helped a lot! But I also had several stories planned that could fit multiple different scenarios, and I would always practice in front of a mirror, so I could see how I was presenting (for example, I realized I would fidget with my hands a lot and play with my hair so I would tie my hair up for interviews.) Take a moment when interview panelists ask you questions and gather your thoughts and really focus on answering the question- I would rush into answering right after they would ask me and I realized I wasn't even answering the question fully in my previous interviews. Always frame your answers using the "STAR" method and always end it with something you learned or something your doing to fix/improve on! Look up common interview questions on Glassdoor for the specific hospital so you have a general idea for the type of behavioral interviews they will be asking ? Hope this helps!!
