Yes Kaiser received it! If you don't mind me asking what type of questions did Palo Alto ask? I am not sure how I should prepare LOL

They first asked us to introduce ourselves and why we want to do nursing. Ik for ICU they asked "why ICU".

Then they went on a line of asking behavioral style questions so the "tell me about a time when you a made a mistake" or "tell me about a time when you had to delegate"

they called each of us by name and we answered 5 questions each but in different order (helps ensure that everyone has a chance to hear one question for the first time).

They have a mediator that asks the questions and then the nurse managers all there taking notes. But this was all via zoom so IDK who will be there for this interview.

All I remember is there wasn't any time to ask questions at the end? But maybe this time there is? Ik palo alto also had a second interview but it's more "chill". Don't know if this location will also conduct second interviews since the start date is so close (Oct. 2nd). And they didn't seem to hint at it... But RN im just assuming there will be >.<

I wish we knew how many people theyre hiring in total bc im just in a whim now. Esp cuz the costs of traveling are well over a couple hundred dollars?

Congrats to everyone who got an interview! LOL I didn't hear back for this one but ended up accepting an offer at lucile packard. It just goes to show everywhere is different! After going through 5 interviews now, 4 of them being panel interviews w/stanford and lucile packard my most important advice is to SMILE & make eye contact! I noticed a lot of people were overly serious & not connecting w the interviewers. People remember how you make them feel first and foremost, so if you're able to show a bit of personality while answering the questions you will be remembered! Remember they are also looking to see how you would fit into the unit bc lets be honest, anyone can answer interview questions but not everyone will necessarily fit into that unit culture etc. & of course have scenarios that can fit into multiple categories of questions. Adding in words like "family centered care, evidenced based practice, safety" they love to hear! Good luck you guys ?

OMG! A pediatric nurse!! Congratulations love!! ?

Anyone else have their interview at 9:45am Friday?

Thank for the advice guys! You're before me. Mine is at 11am that day!

I hope we get to see eachother in passing!

this might be a stupid question but I'm assuming we shouldn't be using the same answers/stories during our interviews from what we wrote on the supplemental questions right?
