Stanford Nurse Residency August 2023 Cohort 39

Published

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

Specializes in ICU.

Hi all! Random question, does anyone know how many weeks stanford precept new grads?

Congratulations to all those who have been chosen for interviews. Are they still sending interview invites? Is today the last day?

Today is the last day of them sending invites. I haven't received one so I'm losing hope at this point. ?

I saw someone mention that their application was inactived. Mine is still active so I still have hope. Is your application active?

I suggest holding onto it. A classmate from my nursing school cohort applied to last cohort (cohort 38), I remember them saying that some people cancel last minute, they may send a panel interview the night before an interview!

Anyone know from the previous cohort how long interview answers should be? Lately my answers are around 1min 40s to 2 min max when I started practicing 2 days ago. I'm a bundle or nerves!

I thought I heard somewhere that it's 2mins max in order to allow everyone to have a turn. That's great that you are practicing! I'm sure you'll do great ☺️

Hi,

I got an interview for the AAU Float Pool for this Tuesday. Does anyone know if this is the panel interview or a individual interview? I didn't have a panel interview at all, so Im a bit confused if I just jumped forward to the individual interviews or what? Thanks :3

You have to get through a panel interview first before you're offered an individual unit  interview.

Does anyone have an interview today?
