Stanford Hospitals and Clinics Residency 2013

Published

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has applied for this in the past and if so, would you know which units they're hiring for? Thanks a lot!

Reminder: Application is opening tomorrow, Monday, 6th of May, at 12 p.m. PST

Did anyone else apply for this? Did anyone else want to kill themselves after that long and grueling online assessment? Omg, talk about the mother of all online assessments ...

Yeah that was some assessment lol I hate those kind! I have a hard time answering them

That assessment was pretty intense! I don't know which units are hiring but I'm pretty sure the ED doesn't accept new grads (could be wrong though!) Good luck to everyone!!!

Just got my rejection letter :/

Me too. Email says they, "decided to pursue other candidates who more closely match the requirements for this position." Wondering what they are looking for? Anyone get an interview that can shed some light on it for us? Thx.

I haven't heard from them but I'll keep everyone posted when I do.

I haven't heard either but I applied recently. Maybe it has something to do with the assessment?

Wow they started sending out rejection emails already? I thought the application period ends May 20?

I think if you "fail" the assessment you get a fairly automatic rejection email.

How soon did you guys receive the rejection letter? I actually applied to this program back in December and got the rejection letter a week later. I know of some people who received it hours later. I only ask because I re-applied and could not retake the assessment. I'm curious if I failed the assessment already or if they gave my application any consideration at all back then? It would actually make me feel kind of better if an assessment failed me rather than my stellar resume ;) I imagine they probably have 1500 applications or something crazy as they are the only new grad app I can think of in the bay.
