It was about 1:20 and a phone call from someone in HR.

Has there been a change in your application status? Just curious!

My original application (for the residency program) still says selected for an interview but a new one popped up for the specific unit that says offer in progress.

Specializes in student.

I just got my official rejection ? My status changed to "Future Potential" Did anyone else get that?

Yeah, I got that too. It's okay though. When one door closes another one opens! Just think of this as a mock interview for future opportunities. Don't let this discourage you

same here. I love that mentality and definitely agree

to anyone else who did not move forward with lpch, best of luck!! it'll all end up working out☺️

Hi everyone! I will be applying for the Summer 2023 cohort and just wanted to ask from those of you who have gotten interviews: when submitting transcripts, do I submit only the transcript from my BSN? Or do I have to submit my transcripts from every college I've ever attended (nursing is my second degree so I have lots of transcripts from different colleges prior for pre-reqs ?). I would really appreciate some clarification.

Best of luck to all of you who have applied and interviewed! I hope you all get accepted into your unit of choice!

I don't have facebook so I haven't seen any, but I'd love to connect another way! ?

Hello! Posting in case someone is still active and could give me some hope regarding this process. Has anyone been able to get a job offer at LPCH without doing their senior preceptorship/placement in a pediatric unit? Do they tend to prefer candidates who got that exposure compared to adult med surg? If we have extracurriculars in the pediatric realm would that be enough to get a job offer or do they weigh your preceptorship placement above all else? Thank you in advance for any insight and congrats to those that got offers ❤️

To those on this thread, What kind of experience do you have?

I was in the military as a corpsman (kinda like an LPN), I worked in a pediatric clinic and pediatric ICU in the military, and I've worked as a tech the last 3 years in school in cardio telemetry units, and now a nurse extern in a CVICU (adults), I've won a Daisy Award, PICU is my DREAM but I am worried about being competitive enough for LPCH. Thank you! and good luck to y'all I'll be applying for Fall.
