Stanford Children's New Graduate RN Residency Program - Spring 2023

Nurses Residency

Published

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to start a forum for the Stanford Children's Health (Lucile Packard) New RN Residency Program that will begin Spring 2023. Wishing everyone the best of luck!!

Also would love to hear from those who interviewed, those were were accepted and rejected!

Needing some advice: I didn't think I would be considered to even interview, and I accepted a job and have started working (literally just last week). I know that this program says NO PAID RN WORK. Did anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? Are they forgiving, or do they really stick to the requirements?

I really just couldn't afford to wait anymore, sadly.

I appreciate anyone's experiences! Would also love to hear how some of you are enjoying the OB program specifically (where I got an interview!).

Thank you all!

I just received an ICN offer! I think they are trying to get them out today so that if anyone declines they can offer to the next person on Monday.

Hi! I have an interview for the ICN and I wanted to ask if we could connect to discuss how your interview went and how you like the residency program so far! Thank you!

Hi! I ended up turning down the offer and working a bit closer to home in L&D, but happy to chat about the interview and/or connect you with a friend who is working there now.
