Hey gang.....
I was wondering if anybody could answer this question for me.....Right now I'm using stafford loans to help me pay for nursing school and of course like everyone else on this board I have dreams of going to CRNA school. I was wondering if I would still be able to get more stafford loans for school if I haven't paid off the loans from nursing school yet?
Just curious......any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes....and they actually offer you more money for grad school 18,500 a yr...as long as you have not defaulted....and youhave not reached your maximum. The max is like 100K so you probably have some to go. Best of luck

Yes, as long as you are not currently in default.
However, do you have a degree completed yet? There is a cutoff for the first Bachelor degree on how many hours you can get loans for. After you complete the BS, it sort of starts over.
No I don't have my degree yet and I'm only getting 12 thousand dollars over the next two years.................Thanks for all the replies.
Best wishes,

Does anyone know about getting all your student loans paid off, or a chunk of them just by being employed in the state of Kentucky for 2 years. This is only for Kentucky nurses or teachers. I heard about this in the beginning of my nursing degree, does anyone know if this is true at all?
