Staffing Firms/Recruiters

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has utilized a staffing firm or recruiting agency such as CompHealth? How was your experience? Good or bad? I am looking for a permanent position, not locum tenens.

I have talked to them before about short term locums assignments

They always try to push assignments off on you that aren't remotely related to what you tell them your area of interest is, likely because they desperately need to fill that position.

For example, I said that I needed either critical care, neurology, or Neurocritical Care. The last two I know are far and few in between. But recruiters from a couple different companies kept trying to push me into Hospitalist and one even tried to sell me on primary care! If they don't have anything that matches your background, the honest thing to do is simply say, so but alas, many won't.

Has anyone heard of or used Milestone Health? or Milestone Staffing? They are a nursing staffing agency
