St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Salary?

Hi all (again lol),

I was wondering if anyone works at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health in Westport? I got a call for an interview for a New Grad program. They said it was 5-6 mo orientation and working 40 hrs/wk to start. Does anyone have an idea about this program? Starting pay for St. Vincent's? Any info would be great!

Hi, I edited it b/c I 'stalked' your posts and saw you were a new grad.

I have friends who work for SVMC Behavioral Health and started as new grads but I'm not sure what new grad pay rate is.

Oh okay. I just hope it is a little bit better than 22.08 which is starting pay in FL. Lol

Yeah, I'm sure it is. CT pays much higher than FL. I'm pretty sure its high 20's..close to $30..but don't quote me.

As an new grad LPN in 2008 I was making close to $24 so new grad RN is def higher.

You've been awesome! Just ONE more question I promise. The position is for nights (also it says full-time but 64 hrs every 2 weeks?). Do they have good night and weekend differentials? Thanks! Sorry to message you so much!

Sounds like its full time at 32 hrs per week. I really can't answer anything more about it in terms of night/weekend diffs. I dont' work there. I have former classmate cohorts who do but I don't know personally.

Oh and about the union thing. I am almost 100% sure that the unlicensed workers are union, not sure if the nurses are also union.

The nurses are not union. the starting salary is $28-31. the pay is every 2 weeks,32 hours is considered full time :)
