Does anybody know more information about the BSN program at St Thomas University Miami or now someone in the program? Their BSN program is recently new.

Hello all ! does anyone know if sociology and pre-calc is on the list of prerequisites ?

If you have taken ethics you should be ok, I took intro to sociology with MDC, but you must take a religion class and a diversity one something like that with then once you get accepted. I gave up on them. I was told to take precalculus and I dropped before getting a W. A few got accepted w/ precalculus. I was told that things have changed. Pre calculus is super hard, even harder with hurricane Irma in the way. As of today my application if in review, I'm tired of waiting. I applied mid July.

Thanks for the information @Nurse2bVenus ! I really hope that I do not have to take pre-calc. It is so strange, they give you one set of prerequisites on their website and then the admissions advisor tell you something else then when you speak to someone in the nursing department they also give you a different story about what prerequisites. Also, is it true that they do admissions for the program for fall and spring ? I hope you hear something from them really soon.

Since their program is new they are very deorganized. You are absolutely right about what you are saying every time I go is a different story. Be open to any other resources. Eventually we will be nurses now matter the obstacles.

So I checked in with nova and they said u should have received a letter by mail or a email in early September. I never did and I realized it's cause I did not have my apt number on there so I had to change it! But they usually email for intwrview so I assume I was rejected for one ? :( idk I'm calling again to see what they say.

Yep I just called it was denied :( my only hope here is STU I'm starting to get scared if no one takes me :(
