St. Thomas University Nursing Miami

Does anybody know more information about the BSN program at St Thomas University Miami or now someone in the program? Their BSN program is recently new.

Hi friend. Can you please let me know if you were told to take pre-calculus? They told me to take it, I have Mac1105 but they want pre calculus too

I got the email on friday saying it for the fall i i called prior to the acceptance to move my application to the spring so i will call on Monday to clear things up

Hello everyone, I hope you all are safe after hurricane Irma. By any chance were you told to take Pre-Calculus? The reason I ask it's because I was told to take it. I don't understand why they want precalculus too, I have college algebra (Mac1105) I'm struggling with that class, I don't think I will make it after an entire week w/out lecture bc of hurricane Irma. Drop with refund was extended. I may have to drop the class. I'm getting anxious and couldn't find a forum of previous students being accepted.

I went in person last week. I'm taking it this semester, I don't want to sound negative but I was told they will not look at applications until final grades are posted. I won't have time. I finish Fall by the first week of December. I would recommend someone to find out, they never know what's going on. You never meet with the nursing Department, only Assistant advisors. If someone here were accepted in the middle of taking classes. Let me know please. Thanks!

According to an admission advisor yes, but not by the nursing department. I heard someone who applied maybe a week earlier than me and she was accepted to the BSN already w/out Pre-calculus. I went in person and asked and was told to take the class bc things are changing. Omg the struggle is real.

Well I hope we can get lucky! It wouldn't be fair if some people got accepted without it and we did not! I have taken all their pre reqs they are asking for except for pre-cal so I hope they can take a look at our applications. Let hope for the best. Even if the application gets denied ( which will not because we are being positive here :)) they still send an email right?

I also have to follow up with NoVa haven't heard anything and I'm getting a slight worried :( going to follow up on Monday. The only thing I got was a call asking if I had any other questions regaurding the program but no interview call yet.

Give them a call. They are very nice. Probably your application is on hold due to currently taking credits. But they will let you know what's going on.

I had my A.A from Miami Dade and didnt take pre cal but i did take trig so idk
