St. Philips College 2013 Fall LVN Program...

I'm turning in my application for the Fall 2013 LVN Program today. Has anyone applied and gotten in? How is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought them off of amazon.

Really!? I priced the books on Amazon about a month ago & my total was close to $1000 ? Did you buy all used books?

Did you get the 2008 or 2013 mosby basic, intermediate, and advanced skills DVD?

Do ya'll plan on doing the LPN to RN bridge at SAC? Or is there another college here that offers this?

After I'm done I'm going to apply for the lvn to rn bridge @ SAC & also the lvn to bsn bridge @ wayland university. Just keeping my options open. What about you?

Sorry to reply so late, I was out of town for the past few days. But I had to buy some of my books at the bookstore at spc because I couldn't find the right ones on Amazon. I bought the 2013 mosby's. and I'm planning on doing the bridge at sac too, but not right away. I want to work for a while first. I'm pretty excited for orientation tomorrow! Also a little nervous though. I went on ratemyprofessor.com and my clinical teacher got pretty bad reviews :/

So I"m trying again for the LVN program at St.Philips...how hard is it to get in, especially, if you have your pre-req's done?? Anything anyone can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

Question...can you apply for the program with only high school background. Will I get accepted only if I have my H.S. Dipolma. I have not taken any prereqs...also is there a limit to how many people can get accepted to the program?
