is there anyone out there applying to St Paul school of nursing in the spring 2017 or fall 2017 in queens New York
What was your GPA? You don't have to say the exact but what's the range ?I think you do have a chance since you did what she asked of You!
Just stay positive !
My GPA was terrible like 2.0 - 2.4 I'm ashamed 🤦ðŸ½*â™€ï¸ I did check the mycampuslink site and made an account it recognized me and said that I am enrolled... I know that's not guaranteed but I'm hoping and wishing that it's true and I get an acceptance letter or a phone call soon * crosses fingers *

Honestly, the best way to do it is to let your entrance exam scores do the talking for you. Score so high on them that there's no way that they can't let you in. On the SLE try to get a 30 or above and on the HESI get at least a 90/90 and you should be in great shape.
I'm sort of in the same boat as you. In highschool I was an average student, I did fine when getting my associates, but when I was going for my bachelor's I was trying to juggle a 50hr/week job while trying to be full time in school and my GPA absolutely TANKED because of it. When it came to the entrance exams I was able to do pretty well. I haven't received my call yet but Ms. Lopez thinks that I'm in good shape, and they didn't ask for any letters of recommendation or personal statements. Judging from what I've been reading I really think that the people who have been posting on this board are all going to make it
Be very optimistic and keep faith
When I was doing my bachelor's I was working and had my son so i didn't do as good as I wanted. My GPA was a 2.7 but I did well on the Hesi and did a good personal statement and I got accepted. So don't put no negativity on yourself. Keep positive
You will be accepted !

I passed my hesi and did an interview with ms Lopez on the 7th... she asked me to write a personal statement and I did... my GPA is so low because I attend Mildred Elley and they want you to take their medical assistance course before applying to they LPN program I didn't feel that it was working out for me after my first semester I didn't want to be a medical assistant and paying a lot of tution too so instead of me withdrawing from the school I just failed some classes... so dumb of me smh 🤦*♂ï¸
Thank i realized i took the wonderlic test and got an 18 on it for the hesi exam how did you all study did the school give you a book or did you guys order the book online i am trying to get the ball rolling now and prepare myself. Also for those who have a Bachelor degree did a lot of the general classes like english psychology sociology transfer over. This forum is helping me a lot about choosing this school
For the Hesi I studied the first 4 chapters and did the review class which is really helpful. I brought the book off amazon.
I have an appointment on Monday to finish my enrollment process I'll ask if they transferred anything yet. But I heard for general courses they transfers and for bio it has to be within 2 or 3 years to be transferred
