is there anyone out there applying to St Paul school of nursing in the spring 2017 or fall 2017 in queens New York

I got an 82 on the Hesi

How long you been waiting @NurseElieV i have a 85 and been waiting since march because i applied for the may classes and been waiting since...Did you get accepted to queens or staten island???? I really feel like going in there and speak to somebody above mrs lopez....i'm so sad from all of this!!!!

I applied for the September classes. I took the Hesi back in May and in June and handed in all of my transcripts and signed whatever documents needed to be considered. They told me that I may not get in because it's a smaller class so when I was waitlisted I wasn't shocked. I have only been to and dealt with anyone from the Queens campus.

I have been waiting since march and i still havent heard anything....They told me im on the waiting list still I really feel like speaking to someone higher than mrs lopez because i strongly believe that they did nor process my papers because she told me September is filled and now have to wait till january .....I am so upset and sad over this because if i don't make it to january i have to do everything the test over again im so upset????

I'm still waiting to hear back from the school also hopefully they call soon because it's already August -______-

Hey, the critical thinking exam basically just gives you a bunch of nursing scenarios asking what you would do. It doesn't really mean anything but you will be taking the same exam when you graduate to show you the progress you've made. It can't hurt you in anyway but you should try to do your best on it. Hope that helped!

So i received a call to meet with the school president. They sure are changing things around huh lol. So now i guess you meet with the school president after your acceptance

Hey, sorry it's taken me a while to write back on here, but I was accepted as a night student so that I may go to work in the morning and school at night. It's going to be a real challenge, but I'm hoping to make it work. I scored an 86 on my English HESI and 92 on my Math. Right now, I'm just submitting all my medical forms and then I'll be done! Congrats everyone that made it in and good luck to those who are still waiting. My fingers are definitely crossed for you.

@futureRN_Dreamsxx Yea I got the same call today! I'm meeting when the president after orientation. Are you days or nights? And which classes are you taking this semester?

Ohh nice i thought it had to be before orientation. I'm taking classes at night. When are you taking classes? And im taking all A&P 1, Nursing 101, english and Psychology. How about you?

my eng and psy credits transferred in so I'm only taking A&P and NUR 101

Applying for fall 2017 on Staten Island campus - I applied in the 2nd week of July, passed the hesi with a 91, have a 3.5 gpa with a BS degree. I'd like to think that I was in good standing and a strong applicant but I haven't heard anything back. Each time I call they tell me oh the committee is yet to meet. Classes for fall begin in 3 weeks, I'm not sure if they are jerking me around or they are infect still accepting. My status in campus link does show as enrolled but I don't think that means anything because I've not met with the president, I've not had an interview, nor have I submitted any medical forms as of yet. I don't know. I'm trying to be hopeful and positive but no status update is quite concerning to me. Do you guys think they are still enrolling ? What's the class size for a freshman nursing class at this school? Does anyone know? Any feedback would be greatly helpful.
