is there anyone out there applying to St Paul school of nursing in the spring 2017 or fall 2017 in queens New York
I chose day classes as well. I have to complete the drug screening and the bls certification. I'm nervous, I feel like I haven't touched books in ages! Do I even know how to study? Have you done any sort of prep, buy stuff? It's so close to the start, I don't even know what or how to prep
I feel the same way. I had a lot of classes trasnfer over because I have a Bachelor's in Biology. I am only taking 2 classes this semester. They did not transfer over my sciences so I will be taking A&P 1 and Foundations in Nursing. I forgot everything from Anatomy. I don't even know what to buy tbh. I tried to find books or some sort of syllabus but nothing is availble online. I guess we will have to wait till the orientation to see what is going on. All the medical forms, bls, drug screening were time consuming for me
Oo same here. But did you request that they transfer the your science credits? They should have given you a reason as to why those credits didn't transfer. The limit is 3 years I think. I'm hoping they transfer my credits over. I've taken all the pre med requirements but I think they may be too old. I've taken Microbio and A&P 1&2 - probably best to retake that though as I don't recall any of that. But I definitely don't want to retake English and psych í ½í¸© lol I just don't want to! I'd rather use that time to study for the other classes.
I've been digging through the forums to look for prep material but I guess we might as well take it easy rt now bc the next 2 years are going to be tough
My A&Ps are older than 3 years. And they told me to retake micro. But I don't mind , since I also don't remember anything lol. Make sure you go through your credits and email them if something. They missed like 3 or 4 classes at first and didn't transfer them. I had to pinpoint the classes to them personally. I'm going to pm you and hopefully see you at the orientation !!
Same here lol. Oops. Here is my email, [email protected]. You can email me and we'll take it from there.
I spoke to Miss Lopez today and she said chances of getting in for the Fall semester are very slim, orientations are on Thursday she said if room becomes available people on the waiting list will be contacted, she said the class size is small consisting of 42 students ...at this point I feel very discouraged and I don't think my chances are great, she did say there is hope but very slim ...so at this point I guess applications are going to be pushed for the January Entrance smh not happy.....

Hello.
I applied in the beginning of May and got a call end of June that I was accepted. It definitely takes time. But when you approach the start of the classes, they usually are quicker. I hope you heard the good news by now!
