St. Paul's School of Nursing - Spring 2015

Nursing Students HESI

Published

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site.

I've recently taken the HESI at SPSON, I got an overall 91%. I'm planning to go to the evening classes if I get accepted. The next step is the interview with the President of the school? Anyone else applying to SPSON?

Hey guys...I was just looking at my schedule and I didn't see any clinical hours on there. Does anyone know if we are doing clinicals our first semester? I'm a little confused

Since they changed the layout of the program, we no longer have Clinicals for our first semester.

St. Paul's is now accredited!!!

Hi my name is maureen && I recently just got accepted into SPSON Sp'15 and everything was so last minute. I'm exhausted lol but I have orientation tomorrow morning at 10 is anyone else going to that orientation?

I will be ! Welcome to the thread

Hey, SPSON is most definitely not NLN/ACEN accredited, nor are they in the process of accredidation. They just have a membership with the NLN. They only ABHES accredited, and I think that only applies to their MA program.

Hey what supplies is everyone using for school? I feel kind of odd walking into class with a spiral notebook. And when do we get our uniforms?

I would advise u get a binder. Something u can keep adding to. If you are taking therapeutic communications with Dr.D your first term, you can get away with a spiral notebook with her. She literally gives you everything you need to know for her exam in handouts.

Hi,

I am very nervous as well as I am taking the HESI exam hopefully next month. I feel alittle lost as to where to begin to study for this exam. I only have one shot to get it right. I am trying to begin my nursing school in May 2015. Are there any study tips or materials to study that you can recommend?

Thank you in advance.
