St Pauls School of Nursing 2010 Acceptance

Hey, has anyone else received an acceptance letter for the spring 2010 semester? :D

from what I hear everything is tentative with this school till the day of. either way my schedule is wide open waiting some sort of formal confirmation in the mail =) has anyone heard back about financial aid yet btw?

I Don't know if this information my help anyone get an idea or time frame on when orientation and school might start but it help me. this information was given to me by fellow accepted student. i hope it helps.

  • Orientation will be held on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2010 @ 4-430pm (whenever classes begin).
  • First day of class is MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2010

If you already taken PSYCH & A&P1 and only need nursing classes, your schedule will consist of classes M-TH.

  • M/W = 4:30pm-830pm approx [she said these are our late days]
  • T/TH= depending on the lab section that you are signed up for, it can either be:
    • 4:30pm-6:30pm [students who are taking a&p1 will automatically be in this lab b/c their lab class is immediately after]
    • 7:30pm-9:30pm

    [*]7 weeks Clinicals will begin in the later half of the semester, either on T or TH. 430-1030pm.

Sup Carlos, i have to finish my fafsa tonight too. i will be looking into loans as well just to have every little option possible to make this nursing school work for me.

you know any other guys in the program?

nah man. so far its just you and I that I know about, but I highly doubt that we are the only ones in a class of 40. although I wouldnt be surpised if we were since I was the only guy in my microbio class of 30 haha

i know of another one guy, his name or tag is EMTYANKEEFAN or something like that...you know anyone who graduated or is attending the school now. I have two coworkers that are in the program as we type and 1 who graduated last semester i believe and he is already working at a long island hospital.

Do you have most of your pre reqs?

Sorry don't know of anyone who finished or is currently in the program now. Hear good things about it though from this board. Finished most of my pre reqs at BMCC a couple of years ago so I'm pretty rusty when it comes to A&P and micro. Hope that's not too much of a hindrance.

i have all my pre reqs except micro!!! congrats again to everyone their is a facebook group sp 2010 it might be private though ill try to get them to make it public

I think thats for their seniors only, start our own FB group.
