Hey, has anyone else received an acceptance letter for the spring 2010 semester?
hey evie! it depends on what classes you need, if you are taking a full load (ie, in addition to the nursing classes you need you are taking a&p, psych, micro etc), you will prob be going to school 430-10 mon-fri - this is inclusive of the clinical hours at the hosp. and also depending on the semester you are in you may have classes/clinicals only 4 days a week instead of 5 . best of luck in your nursing school choice!
Wow thats a long day for me as I work a fulltime job. Then again in another program with pre-reqs, i guess it would be the same. Is it 2 yr?
it is a 2 yr program =) u can lighten ur load a bit if you take your a&p 1 and 2, micro bio, intro to psych, dev psych, literature, writing, or intro to soc class. i kno it sounds like alot but these are the core classes you need for ur RN in addition to the nursing classes. We have a lot of 1199 (rad techs, CNA's & LPN's) students and a lot of moms that work fulltime in the night classes now, it is a sacrifice and 2 yrs of tough work but its worth it i think. =)
No I never got called for an interview after applying. I did have to meet with an admission rep prior to applying to the school. I did pretty well on both of my admissions tests and then received a letter stating I qualified for acceptance. I had to fill out the enrollment form, pay $500 deposit, take a drug screening and do a criminal background. Now just waiting!! Good Luck!!
