St. Paul School of Nursing Fall 2019

Published

I haven't been able to find a thread on St. Paul School of Nursing for fall 2019, so I'm creating one. Has anyone taken the HESI exam yet? If so, what were your scores? I've only taken the SLE exam and scored a 23 on it. I take the HESI in a week.

do you need to do orientation physically ? or can u do the interview online? I'm very interested in attending ST PAUL but I did most pre nursing at Nassau community college, I hope they r not going to make me take (I have a 4 yr degree from Baruch) into courses again.........that aside, I'd love to take the SLE and get into the Summer classes

well they won't transfer all your credits but most should transfer in. I was told that science courses can not be more than 3 years old and must have a grade of B or better and as far as general courses they can only be 5 years old. I was also told that orientation will be virtually.

So they are not going to make me take eng 101 and 102 again?, I took most prenursing in the past 2 yrs. HUMAN DEV/AP I AND II, BIOMEDICAL ETHICS, but, Psych 101 which is a prerequisite for Human Development, I haven't taken that in 20 yrs, if they start some BS that ''o we will take Pscych 202 whatever the number is, but, u have to take the pre req over? I will not be happy...........And I took Statistics, if I have to take that over I will not be happy ,

Their Summer class already started, they are accepting fall admissions right now. The orientation doesn’t happen until acceptance into the program. You go on a zoom with possible 4 or so others and the director for info then they send the link for the SLE test.

I have a big question and I can't believe no one has asked it already. We already know that the tuition is high. After financial aid and all that... what are the monthly payments going to look like? I am trying to see if I will be able to afford it. if anyone is willing to say what their monthly payment will be or will look like I would appreciate it. I just want to give myself an idea.

How much is the tuition?

has anyone heard anything yet? im talking about those who already applied and just waiting for a decision?

I heard back this afternoon that I officially got in! I am so excited and hope others have heard back!

Hey what did you get on the SLE if you don’t mind me asking and what did you hand into them?

I actually took it two times one week apart. The first time I scored a 19 and that was not really studying and just guessing my way through. The second time I studied and practiced for a whole week. I ended up buying a study program that breaks the SLE into sections for you and the second time I took it I scored a 29... big difference right? The advisor did tell me that they would take into account that I had to take it 2 times so im not sure how that's going to hurt me.
