St Jude Medical Center, Fullerton

Can anyone tell me about this facility? How is management, staff, etc? I have a job interview lined up and would love info on it before I travel to go there if possible. Does anyone work there or live in the area? What would the area be like? Thanks for any help given.:nurse:

what position did you apply for? Do you know anything about the hospital and surrounding areas? I heard there are alot of gangs in that area. Thank you and hope you hear something soon.

i'm sorry, i dont really know anything about the area (I'm from the bay area) but i have heard about that there are a lot of gangs too...i hope this is not true! and I applied to the new grad program

gangs? i don't know about that. most of the houses around the western part of fullerton (st. jude) are gated communities.

i know coz' i drive by st. jude's almost every day.

you should be fine, you'll enjoy downtown fullerton also if you like the party/night scene.

I used to live in Fullerton, this was 9 years ago. But I don't recall any gangs and the downtown area is a lot of fun. It's mostly a college town because of Cal State Fullerton. There's a lot of traffic though.

Ya, definitely no gangs! I live in Yorba Linda, which is a city over and its middle to upper class and very safe. St Jude just built a new building which is beautiful and all the people I know who work there love it! Hope this helps...good luck!

Hi,

how did your interview go? Did you interview for a new grad position?

This location is really nice. I come to this area often and it seems pretty safe to me; I have never felt scared in this area. It is close to Yorba Linda and Fullerton is a really nice area with great schools. The hospital is also very nice. I recently went there to visit a friend who was in the hospital and it is newly remodeled.
