I applied to NICU, L&D, Mother Baby. I was told during the interview there is also a other department for more acute moms. It's kinda like a step down unit for the pregnant women!! So I asked to be considered for that as well.

They are just a couple of questions about you..”tell me about yourself” and “your goals”. Don’t be nervous, it’s very laid back and more of an opportunity to ask them questions and learn about the department.

I am not sure, I just finished my first interview and am waiting to hear if I’ll be called back tomorrow. If I am I will ask and reply to this post to let you know. How was the second interview? Did they take 45 minutes each and were the questions similar to the first interview?

The second interview they just have each person kinda talk about themselves and ask questions about the unit. I thought it was more intimidating then the first interview because you see your competition and hear all the great things they have to say! Also I had to work night shift last night and be at the interview at 8am so that was pretty rough for me. I applied for the OB department and they basically said they only are hiring 4 nurses so that was kind of a bummer too. I hope you hear back tonight and good luck!!

Did you have to actually go to the facility for the second interview or was it over Microsoft teams again? Thank you so much! Good luck to you, even thought there’s only 4 positions you never know what could happen so I wish the best for you!

I interviewed on Wednesday but havent head back from them. I interviewed for ICU step down, l&d and med-surg. I thought it had gone great and I was really hopeful but since I havent heard anything back for the 2nd round I doubt I will. :(
