I wasn't going to apply for the spring as I didn't realize you could get in with just your HESI score! I do not have a competitive GPA, so I took the HESI and ended up getting a 96% overall. I really hope this is high enough to get in but i'm really worried because there's only 36 seats. Has anyone else applied to sjr state? If so, what are your stats?

I applied with the GPA only, i have a 3.8 and i would assume that would be competitive. I guess we will find out when the letters go out. Have you heard about the date they will begin selection?
I emailed lori gaskin and she said that we will know on or before the 15th of October via our Vikings email address! Good luck to you :)
Did you take the HESI at all?
I did not take the hesi at all.

I applied to Spring as well! I can't wait to hear back, I am so nervous!!
Me too!!! Did you apply with your GPA or HESI? They said we will know by October 15th!
I applied with my GPA. My HESI scores weren't high enough so hopefully my GPA is high enough. I heard the lowest GPA they've taken the last two semesters was a 3.7 and that's what I have
Thats really good! My GPA is miserable so I knew I would have to apply with the HESI. I just hope it's good enough! Do you know anything about the semesters though? If we get accepted to the spring will it be spring, summer, fall, spring, summer and then we graduate at the end of summer 2019?

I applied for Spring as well... I attached both GPA and HESI. I feel like I am at the low end of being competitive so I wanted to apply with both just in case. The wait wasn't bothering me until October 1st and now, even though I know we won't hear something until almost mid month, I cant stop looking at my email.
The lowest GPA they accepted last spring was a 3.63 according to a current student that was accepted last spring. I hope that was correct, but we will only know once the emails start going out.
Me either I've been checking every day! I'm so ready.
I hope it's true too!
