St. Joes NICU

U.S.A. Arizona

Can anyone give any info on the NICU at St. Joes? I know there is a childrens hospital in Phoenix where there are many NICU beds...is St. Joes NICU for less serious neonates? Working conditions? Anything will help. Also, can anyone recommend any books for a nurse new to the NICU?

Thanks

I did my leadership/managment portion of my Senior II semester in the NICU at St. Joe's. I loved it there!!! All of the nurses were very helpful and the environment was fun. They have a Level III trauma NICU (they take the sickest of the sick). I have a friend who works there now and she loves it. I would recommend their NICU to anyone.

Thank you so much. I too am doing my leadership/ management there! As well as my senior clinical elective.

If you meet a nurse by the name of Brianna Brady tell her Marnie says hi. We went to nursing school together and we were in the same learning community. Good luck with the rotation! :)

Specializes in NICU.

Does anyone know if St. Joes has a new graduate program in their NICU? I'm trying to find a new grad NICU program in the Phoenix area. Does anyone have any info? Thanks!
