Can anyone tell me the hourly pay range one could expect at St Francis for an RN with 6 years experience?

Thank you in advance!

Hi, I only have 1yr experience and I currently make 29.25/hr at St Francis. Hope that can give you an Idea.

Anything else you can offer regarding benefits? Im specifically curious about tuition reimbursement and shift differentials.

Thanks again :)

Anyone else have any info on this hospital?

Heard they are being absorbed by Trinity Health see what happens

Be interesting to see if they become a Magnet Hospital

Sorry for the late response. I don't know why I don't get notified when there's a reply. As for tuition reimbursement

Tuition only will be reimbursed based upon the following years of service:

1 year – 2 years = $ 750.00/calendar year

2+ years – 5 years = $ 1,000.00/calendar year

5+ years = $ 2,500.00/calendar year

A grade of B or better must be obtained for courses.

The health benefit sucks here. I currently pay $150 a month for health insurance as a 24hr employee. It's a little better if you're full time. I get a little over $5 for night differential.

If you are most concerned about tuition reimbursement try to land a state of CT nursing job. Their tuition reimbursement is the best I have ever heard and reimburse you 75% of the cost (Uconn equivalent cost) up to 9 credits per semester and no cap per calendar year. So if you take 9 credits during each spring, summer and fall semesters you would be reimbursed 75% of the cost of 27 credits per year, which if at $700/credit, which would put some $14,175.00 into your pocket. Significant benefit to have, for sure. In addition, if you are there long enough, they have what's called a "Career Mobility" program where u go to school instead of work and they pay you like you had been at work.

Yeah the state is the best. It is true what is said above. Another huge plus with the state is known people working 10 year's for them. As long as they paid some of their college loan's in that period. When 10 year's come to fruition any loan's left are forgiven. That's huge!

Thank you for the info. My specialty is emergency nursing however.

Uconn health center's ED has several floor RN and RN assistant manager positions open at the moment. Manager position prefers a BSN RN.
