1st exam Schedule nervous

Nursing Students Excelsior

Published

Transition to the professional nurse role exam has been scheduled. . I don't know why I am scared, nervous. I shouldn't be due to my On education was from an accelerated program where each subjust was any where from 2 to 6 weeks long and I passed all those classes with a B minus 2 classes with a C... . Any advice will be taken....

You will do fine. If you did well on the practice tests and have STUDY 101, you will do just dandy. Don't worry if you forget something, flag it during the test and return at the end to deal with it. You have three hours for 100+ questions, so you have plenty of time. Remember that C's get degree's and that once you pass this, your on to the next one.

Thanks. When you say pass the practice test, what score are you referring to? Studygroup 101 mentions to get any where between 60-70% on the practice test and those scores are good enough to pass the test. Just wanted some clarification.

P.S. I do full know that C's get degree's . When I was in PN school, my classmate was a straight A student, but couldn't get the clinical aspect at alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. I just need the degree so that I can full shine.

Thanks in advance.

Take the Excelsior practice exams. Those are the best gauge of readiness, since it's EC's test.

I used the practice exams for every test. It was worth the money. Reviewing all the rationales for the answers (even the incorrect ones) helped me. Good luck.

As the previous post stated. Invest in the Ec practice exam and make sure you follow the EC study guide. Hope this helps. Best of luck

OMG, so I took the test today and didn't do well at all on my 1st test. I am soooooooo worried. I thought I study enough. I think this whole program got to my nerves.

The first two or three tests are the worst!!! Just learning to figure out how to study was hard but then you get the hang of it. Transition exam was so boring.

Im trying not to be bored, but Transition is so boring. I have to wait to retake it but I really need to get in it a lot harder than I have been.

Did you fail the exam? Your test printout should show you which areas need improvement for the retest.

Sad to say, yes I did. I did see it on the test print out and that's what I'm working with now.
