Hi Stina
I may have an interview for St. David in the IMC/tele unit for the winter NEW GRAD Residency in 2016. Since you have already interviewed there can you give me any tips on how they interview, What questions they ask and how I should prepare. Thank you in advance for your help. Also, did you end up working there? if so, how do you like it?
I worked there a while back on a med-surg floor and loved it. Since then they have renovated most of the hospital. Plus south Austin is prime real estate right now. Granted it can be expensive to live but that is Austin in general. If L&D is your dream job I say go for it. My friend had a baby recently there and the maternity ward was beautiful. I would go back to work any day if I wanted to leave my current position. Good luck!

Hello!
I'm a new grad RN who has been applying all over Austin and just got a call back for an interview from St. David's in Austin about the New Grad Residency. The position is pretty much my dream job (L&D) and I'm really hoping I get it. Does anyone have experience working at St. David's or lives in Austin and can tell me what it's like?
Anything would be greatly appreciated, I've never been to Austin before but hear it's great!
