Is there anyone else possibly attending St Charles Community College in the fall for Nursing? If so what all have you heard about the program and etc? Or is there anyone that has completed the program and has a few things to say? Any help would be great! I applied last year so I'm pretty sure I'm getting in. Any help would be great!
I am in my last semester at SCC. I am doing the LPN-RN bridge, so my admission requirements were different. It is definitely a good idea to get all your prerequisites done first, several of my class mates have been enrolled in gen ed classes while in the program and it's tough. The program itself is really good, I've been happy with my choice. It is definitely challenging, though. You have to have a 78% average on all tests to move forward, 77.9 is failing. My class size was 80 last semester and is now 64.
Do you know if you can start the program in January, or is it only Fall start? I was looking at classes and noticed that the second semester (which should be winter term), was actually offered Fall (only 24 seats though). Are those people that didn't pass, or is it possible they have more than one start date?

It is a fall only start for new students. LPN bridge students start spring semester of the first year, since they already have nursing fundamentals. Not really sure which class was being offered for fall with only 24 seats, so I can't answer to that. If you don't pass, you have to wait a year to retake the class.

Thank you so much! I hope so. I can deal with hard work, I just hope the instructors are adequate with their delivery. I can't deal with a bad instructor lol
