Hello Everyone!! I didn't see a thread on this yet so I thought I would start one. I applied yesterday for the UCF Basic BSN that starts in the Fall, but since the window for the concurrent program opens prior to acceptance letters going out, I will also be applying to the concurrent program! Here are my stats...
AA - Completed with Honors (MCL)
Overall GPA: 3.65
Prereq GPA: 4.0
TEAS Score: 85.3
Anyone else finishing up their prereq's or just waiting for the window to open?
I really thought today was going to be the day. I could cry right now lol . I emailed Luisa with a question about the program about a week ago and she hasn't responded. She usually responds the next day so . . . . . Idk?
It's okay!!! I'm sure she's just super busy. She probably has a TON of emails and phone calls from people, on top of figuring out who they're going to accept. We got this!
Im just going to preoccupy all my free time so I don't sit around all anxious and thinking about it constantly. I had really hoped it would have been today too!

Yes hopefully tomorrow! Good luck everyone! BTW, if God forbid anyone does not get in, Valencia is taking applications for their fall (of this year) generic program. I went to the information session a few days ago and I found out that there is no wait list, no competition, as long as you meet the requirements your good to go but it's first come first serve. You have to have an overall 3.0, 3.0 in A&P 1, A&P 2 and mircobiology, 3.0 on the prereqs, and I don't remember the exact TEAS score requires but I think it's a 64.9? There are 120 seats, but you have to apply ASAP before they fill up. If they do fill up for Fall, you should get in for spring. If anyone wants to apply I would get started and get them your transcripts and TEAS scores as soon as possible because you can't apply until they have those on file. Here is some additional information:
I'm thinking it has to be this week given the June 25th orientation. There's a lot to do once we're accepted (taking the positive road here) and we are almost a month out. Here's to decision day!!!
