Seminole State College Nursing
1,2, and 6 I cannot answer as I am a current student. 3. They do not have a typical schedule. Generally, SSC has 2-3 schedules for the same cohort. The lecture portion of the class is attended by everyone on the same day. The lab portion is what varies. My first semester I had school Monday and Wednesday all day, and clinical on Thursday. My second semester I had class for six weeks on Monday, around 8-4 Tuesday, every other Wednesday from 8-3, and Thursday from 1-3. My clinical days were Friday (9 of them), 3 Saturday's, and 2 Sunday's. 4. Managing personal life, work, and school is possible. However, organization is the key. You may have to cut hours on work or social life, but you WILL have time for everything. 5. Clinicals are fun. You get to apply the knowledge you've learned in class, and get to see some cool stuff. Some clinical instructors are more helpful than others. Some are adjunct professors and only do cliniclas and some are your classroom instructors. 7. I do not think nurses should receive CNA training before school. It can help with basic stuff and time management but it is not necessary. CNAs work EXTREMELY hard and often have 2-3x the patient load a nurse does- they will become your lifeline on the floor.

Congrats guys!

Ucf/ssc concurrent nursing program spring 16
You typically receive the SSC first and it does tell you what program you are selected for. So if it is concurrent, it will say so. If any of you have questions about the program just let us know, a few of us check this (:

You have to also complete the UCF stuff. Any holds, any of their online videos, and UCF ID. The immunizations had to be done in a certain timeframe in order to be considered compliant. But Blondie hit the nail on the head with everything else.
