SPSCC Fall '15

I received my acceptance yesterday! I'll be honest though and was not expecting to get into this program since it's a lottery now and I did not take any of my courses there. I'm still waiting to hear back from Centralia College (where I took my pre-req's) and TCC.

I know there was a lot of stuff going on with SPSCC over the past few years, but I'm curious if anyone on these boards is currently in their program since they have restarted it? I think I still have a very good shot at getting into Centralia College as well and will be deciding between the two programs.

Hey, I'm number 20 on wait list at spscc. I'm still waiting to hear from the other colleges too. I'm so sad that I'm so far on the wait list.

She said they should definitely be here tomorrow. I seriously have a headache from anxiety! Why can't they just email!!!???

Just FYI two of the people I went to school with received their acceptance letters today at Centralia College. I live a bit further away so I'm guessing it just means it'll be in tomorrow. If you live closer though, I would suggest making sure to check your mail just in case! Good luck!

I guess I better check the mail once more. I am only 20 mins away from Centralia and I asked the lady at the post office if all the mail was out and she said yes. Not sure why I haven't received it yet :(

I have 54 points. I totally get it. My letter wasn't very thick so I was sad until I opened it and saw congratulations!! Haha good luck!!!

I got mine today as wel! Grats FNP! Now how the heck am I going to decide between SPSCC and CC??? ughhhhh

I have 57 point I hope I get in. I have to wait until around 5 when I get home. Man the suspense is killing me.

I'm sure you did if I did with 54. Thank you! And I would just do some research on NCLEX pass rates and things of that nature to decide.

yeah sadly they're both very similar. I've made a spreadsheet to compare the two and will be sending some questions to both colleges to get responses to help me make my decision.

Well my friend that got in there said that spscc has their state accreditation but does not have national accreditation. They are reapplying for that in a year or two. So that is the only thing I'd think about. I'm not sure how or if it would affect anything. She said it would mostly affect someone wanting to work for the VA.
