Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) ADN Fall 2020

Hello All!

I noticed that there wasn't a thread for this year so I wanted to start one.

I live in near Hartford, CT but applied because of the limited programs in my state.

Im 25 and I want to start a career in Nursing.

I have a BA in Psychology with a low undergrad GPA? of a 2.51.

So I'm taking the longer route to eventually become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I do have a high pre-req GPA due to class retakes a community college and I've also completed all the pre-req requirements too.

Teas score of 76, and experience as Americorps state member at a health education site with 1700 hours.

Anyone know when we will hear back from admissions?

Yes, I have heard that supposedly letters will start being mailed as of the end of this month- beginning of next month. ??

I got a letter in the mail stating that my application was complete and ready for review. 1 month to go!

Hi there,

I also received a confirmation letter. Did yours say note on the bottom and say the deadline has passed for the nursing applicants? I submitted everything on time but that note on the bottom of the letter is making me a bit nervous! Just wondering if others are seeing the same thing!

Hello, you may be able to check your status by going to the prospective students tab and check your admission status you should be able to see if you were accepted...I think. Let me know

Gotcha. I’m an outside student and don’t have access to that. I guess I have to wait for a letter.

Anyone know if there sending letters out?
