Hi guys,

Starting a new thread for USF Ca MSN for Non RN's program.... just submitted my app!!! Super anxious but I am glad I submitted early!!!! Anyone else submitted applications???

I got the call yesterday saying I got into the Orange County campus :D Now waiting for an email..

Congratulations to everyone on getting accepted! Still waiting over here (eeeek). To those who have heard back did your application status change on the USF website? I'm too nervous to look yet without hearing anything. And I didn't know they reaccredited the OC program, how cool! Did you guys just pick that campus to apply for? Happy Thanksgiving everyone :)

@mak5678 Hang in there!

The status did change to "Admission Decision Available." If you're not admitted you will get an email to check your application.

Some people may decline admission because they may have been accepted somewhere else, etc. So don't give up guys!!!!! If you're not admitted, reapply, your chances are greater the second time around.

Also, I have zero patient care experience and minimal volunteer hours. But, I do speak two languages and I have a 3.9 GPA, overall and prereq. I sat down with my recommenders and ensured they provided me with the best and unique to me rec letter. My personal statement took me 6 months to write, I literally had 5 people (professors) edit it. I have been declined over and over again from various nursing programs. But, hard word and persistent does payoff!

Thanks! I'm trying to stay positive, but I could barely sleep yesterday night...I only asked my friend to proofread my personal statement and I don't know if it is good enough since I have been working on it for so long...I have some health experience, but I really don't have time to volunteer. My average gpa sucks...I feel like I dun want to do anything over this Thanksgiving holiday...the wait is a torture.

My account still says that my application is submitted & will be reviewed after the deadline. Any one else who has not heard anything yet-- is that what yours says? No news = good news right?! Just stay positive, there is still plenty of time left! We can relax this weekend since I don't believe anyone will be contacted the rest of the week because everyone will be off enjoying their holiday. :-)
