2017 Spring UM ABSN Program.

Just curious to hear how everyone's app processing is going..

Anna Castro emailed me in the beginning of June stating I should finish my application and that she wouldn't email me if it wasn't good news. So I finished it, and a day later she let me know that I had gotten accepted. However I haven't gotten the official email or mailed packet from UM. Have you? I'm really kinda nervous because before the summer had started I was in the application process for Barry, and was about to take the last prerequisite courses for their program. I called and ask Mrs. Castro directly to make sure I had been accepted before I dropped the classes.

TL;DR have you gotten the official email from UM and the mailed packet?

So one of my transcripts still has not arrived to NursingCAS!! Getting so nervous. They are verifying the one they received at least!

Now I'm paranoid if I should talk about it, but yes. I got an email early June from Anna Castro that I had been accepted. But it wasn't the official UM acceptance email nor the UM acceptance package.

hmm thats weird then I guess it is rolling admission. But she told me to apply even if Im close to the deadline. I hope that damn transcript make sit in soon!!

Hello All,

I spoke to Ana Castro today and she informed me that the committee is going to review applications next Wed. NursingCAS just finished verifying my transcripts! Good luck to all applying!

Have you checked you Cane Link account, I heard that sometimes the email is sent there before the package comes in the mail. Congrats on being accepted I am waiting to find out if I was hopefully I will know soon...

Hey guys, just wanted to post an update on things.. So I just received the email from UM with my Canelink CaneID and password info. It says that the admissions team is working on my application and that I will be able to see the decision on there when it's done. Have you guys received this email yet? Any updates?

I just received the same email. I just have to wait for one transcript to come through to nursingcas!

I almost had a panic attack when I saw I got an email from UM lol.. but this doesn't really mean anything yet unfortunately. Also, I emailed the recruiter earlier today just asking for an update, I had spoken to him on the phone not that long ago, and he said I "should be receiving a email/letter this week." Now I don't know if he was referring to this Carelink email or what.. I am literally freaking out!!!

I think its just where we can check the status of our application and see what we need to send is or what is missing. We will also get the acceptance email/info on there. I hate sending transcripts in through third party.

I am not sure what the Canelink is all about. The email I received on Fri 28 said I could view my acceptance letter through Canelink but it's not there. All in all it's not a big deal because I got the acceptance letter in email. No idea if a packet came in the mail because I'm not home and won't be for another week or two.
