Spring 2021 Suffolk County Community College Nursing Program

Published

Since the application due date is only a little over two months away, I figured I'd start a chat for applicants applying to Suffolk County Community College Spring 2021 nursing program! Just curious what other peoples stats / TEAS / rubric scores are! Good luck in advance to everyone applying!

Nassau has a Spring start program? I thought they only had a program starting in the Fall?

As per the e-mail I received today, it states "Spring 2021 Change of Program applications will be accepted from September 1, 2020 until October 9, 2020." They attached the application for the program, zoom meeting dates, and the program/admission requirements.

Oh that’s so awesome! I didn’t know that, I’ll definitely have to send in my application!

Hi everyone! It is nice to meet all of you.

I applied to the evening RN Spring 2021 Program.  Currently my grades are ENG B+, STATS A, AP1 A, AP2 A, MICRO A, I am currently taking ENG 2 and PSY. I got an 84.7 on the TEAS.

I am so nervous, the waiting is not easy. I wish you all the best of luck.

Hey... so I received something from Suffolk today titled "Mandatory Professional Licensure Disclosure" .. via e-mail. Did anyone else receive this today?

I just checked... not that I see. What is it?

It thanked me for my recent application to Nursing, A.S. and advised me to read the document. In the document  it basically states the program is sufficient to meet the educational licensure or certification requirements in the state of New York. I don't know why they sent me this? I'm not sure if it has something to do with me already being a LPN? I tried to call admissions to follow up, but there is a high call volume. ?

Any idea when letters are supposed to go out?

I took Professor Peter Smith for Summer session A&p2... he is not an easy professor but I learned SO much! Definitely worth it!

I took Rebecca Pearson and thought she was amazing. It was not easy but a great class.
