2020 Spring SMU ABSN program

Congrats! This is all through the portal correct? Who is going to San Mateo? I will be commuting from Santa Cruz.

Do you know if this is different than you got the other times when you weren't accepted. Like swyllie3 said, I don't want to get prematurely excited:)-

I logged in using a different email address (one not previously associated with smu) and it also showed "Congratulations," but didn't have the entire "Spring 2020 ABSN-Submitted" language. Just blank. I don't want to get my hopes up either!!! Someone please confirm ?

How is everyone able to log in to the portal? Do we just sign up for an account?

Yeah lol, so I signed up for an account using another email address and somehow I managed to log in. It still said "congratulations," which was weird because the email address was random and one that I hadn't used before. That's what's making me skeptical of the portal, but on the other hand, it didn't say the year or campus and it was a totally blank page.

When I logged in, I was able to click on the Checklist section and that showed the application and status that I have submitted.

That is so weird. Wait, how does SMU even know which email is our primary? Also, I am just curious if anyone's screen show something else besides a 'Congratulations'. I'm just questioning its legitimacy lol.

So mine says "congratulations you've been admitted" and at the bottom it says "accept your offer and submit your letter of intent." I hope this isn't a glitch!! The other email address I used didn't have any of that!!

Congrats to all those who have heard so far. I'm in the Fall 2019 Sacramento Cohort and also found out initially through the portal. Unless things have changed, use the same email that you used when you applied. My acceptance page looked like the screen shot above with the microscopic "Congratulations! You've Been Admitted"

I received acceptance letter just after 7am the following day.

Have you seen other folks with letters that say the application is still being reviewed, rather than telling you that you've been accepted?

Heeey, that would be me! My application hasn't changed since. When I log into the admitted students portal, it tells me in big bold letters "Congrats, you've been admitted to SMU", but under my application status it still says that my application is being reviewed.
