Hello everyone. Is anyone applying at Prairie View medical center in Houston ? For spring 2018?

So this means we may know if we were accepted or not next week? í ½í¸¬ . Will it be through email or mail, anyone know? Good Luck to everyone !!! :)

Yes I was told this Friday. The pre-nursing students at PVAMU get priority over every one else who applied as transfer student with prereqs from other schools. That's a fact! Hopefully we get to start hearing on their decision from next week.

I was able to submit the things I was missing today and I was told by Dr. Smith that we will receive our admission letters by mid-November, however she did not say how early they will begin sending them out to us. It is just a waiting game now!

I know the students who actually attended Prairie View already got admission letters. I guess since their deadline passed It is now our turn

So students that are also applying with us that are in the school have an advantage?

I Havent receive any evaluation or anything like that..

I also hope there's enough space for the rest of us too. As a matter of fact PVAMU students only need to meet the requirements and they are guaranteed a spot (minimum C on all prerequisites and 75 minimum on all HESI sections). The rest of us compete for the remaining spots with our grades both on the HESI and prerequisites. That's what one of their students told me.

Yes you should give them a call to find out. The evaluation are sent by email (unlike snail mail which is slow and unreliable) so you should have gotten one.

I emailed Vernica Anderson and she said that they had begun reviewing ALL Spring 2018 applicants. Everyone will eventually get transcript evaluations!
