Hello,

I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!

Pre-req GPA- 3.514

Havnt submitted just yet, but i will be soon!

I will be applying for the spring 2020 term. I am shocked the cut off was 3.71 for this fall semester. My GPA is 3.61 hoping that next term the cut off is lower.

So I didn’t apply for Fall 2019, because I’m still taking micro and sociology. I’ll finish both before the application deadline for Spring 2020, so I may apply.. still not sure.. I’m feeling iffy about it, because this semester was so competitive with the high gpa cutoff..

Program gpa: 3.46

TEAS: 74

p.s. I applied to another school for Fall 2019 and I got denied, so I’m a little in my feelings.. I may reapply their for the Spring term, but I’m also considering going to . They have a class starting September 30th.. I just need to make a decision and stick with it, but it’s honestly so hard. Sorry I’m just rambling now.

their information session on Saturday to get more information and see all credits transfer. Etc

Hi,

I just came across this thread after not being accepted into fall semester. I am discouraged now due to my low GPA and how competitive the program is. My pre-req GPA is only a 3.248 and I wanted to get your opinion on if I should reapply for spring or consider going to a private school.

*I went to HCC from 2012-2016 transferred and graduated from USF in 2017 with a BSPH.

If I were you I would re due a class that I had a low grade on it, so I could have a better gpa.

the gpa for this fall was very high 3.71, I ddnt get in either and I have a 3.66. I will try again for the spring

Good morning!

Are we able to retake classes that are B’s? I got A’s in Microbiology lectures&lab and ap1 lab. The rest of the prereqs are B’s I even took business calc to replace my C’s in college algebra, trig, and preclac!

No , the science portion and English is not replaceable or it would advise “or higher level class” and I don’t believe the college let’s you retake once you pass you pass

i think u can yes, I would ask an advisor but I think you can, if it’s the second time you are taking the class then it shouldn’t be a problem but I might be wrong

D isn't passing so you will have to retake that but if you got a C or higher you passed the class you cant retake classes you already passed , best chances is to only retake a higher level math if you can @milab
