I was just wondering were there any others who were applying for Spring 2013. I was in nursing school many moons ago (2003 el centro), and have decided to take care of unfinished business. I'm super excited about the new points system. I actually hope to attend Northlake--we live in Coppell. I'll be taking HPRS 1204 this summer there as well. Is anyone else petitioning the five year limit on their science courses? I Have all the Science courses complete except HPRS so I'm petitioning since I majored in Biology (UTA). I'm also hoping they will take my Calculus I in lieu of college algerbra. Lots to do! Prayerful that God shows favor on us all!
I'm feeling a little discouraged. I took my HESI today & with the test I only have 23 points. I don't think it will be enough. what do yall think? Hopefully I can retake the test before the 31st! Morgan B you have a great score. I think you'll get in! This is so stressful!
Sasha I'm going to just retake it at Prometric in Bedford just to see. And crys dontbe discouraged 23 might be the cutoff you never know don't count yourself out. Go full steam ahead after all spring apps are allegedly lower than fall. People may very well get in with 21 for spring. Be encouraged !!!
@Morgan - LOL - I'll be right there with you, trying not to bite my finger nails, haha.
@All - I may be wrong - but I remember the woman at the info session saying that you could take the hesi anywhere except Prometric. You may want to email them, they reply pretty quickly.
Just don't want anyone getting disqualified for something silly.
So if you can't take the hesi at Prometric are there any locations still offering hesi in August ? If I can't take it at prey roc then 26 will have to do.
I just took mine last week and it made my head hurt I really don't want to take it again. The closest place is tvcc Athens on tuesdaybut I'm not driving two hOurs to test.
