I was just wondering were there any others who were applying for Spring 2013. I was in nursing school many moons ago (2003 el centro), and have decided to take care of unfinished business. I'm super excited about the new points system. I actually hope to attend Northlake--we live in Coppell. I'll be taking HPRS 1204 this summer there as well. Is anyone else petitioning the five year limit on their science courses? I Have all the Science courses complete except HPRS so I'm petitioning since I majored in Biology (UTA). I'm also hoping they will take my Calculus I in lieu of college algerbra. Lots to do! Prayerful that God shows favor on us all!
Hi Everyone..I got accepted to Northlake with 23 points. (I thought I had 25 points but they would not accept my upper division sociology and any of my 3 different writing intensive courses for the English technical writing.) I'm so happy for those who got in, but my heart aches for those who didn't. MorganB... It's simply disgusting that they could make an error like that. I'm still waiting patiently for Mr. Mailman.
Random question... Were the envelopes big or small? I know that sounds crazy, but I want to know what to expect when I open the mailbox.

Thank y'all so much I almost cried, and in my heart I did. I emailed her initiall plus left a message. Then something told me to call her office gain, and she picked up. She had already sent a response to my email. Again, I won't know what campus until around the 16th but I'm fine with that. I'm just in prayer that it's Northlake, since I'm so close. I'm so greatful.
Welp! I won't be freeing up a space for anyone! I took college algebra with business applications instead of regular old college algebra and el centro didn't like that! Otherwise I would have had 21 points.
I didn't get in. I was missing a dose of varicella. I got my shot record from when I was kid and it said varicella on it. I emailed ******** and she said that varicella had a D beside which meant I had the disease and not the vaccine. You learn something new everyday. I had 22 points.
