Thought I'd start a thread for the Spring 2020 Creighton University ABSN applicants! I submitted my priority deadline application today!! Can't wait to hear back. Phoenix is my first choice, but I'm open to go where ever! Anyone else?!

I am in the same boat - been trying to find out a little bit more about what this program is like and always end up reading about Omaha instead haha.

I’m 22 and from San Diego , did my undergrad at UC Davis and will be looking for a roommate or two as well !

Which one is the Facebook page? Is it the Spring 2020 one? Also want to mention that I'll be joining the Phoenix campus and I'm from Southern California ?

Wondering if I can get any insight into how to best boost my application to be offered admission! Also how long from you applying were you notified of admission acceptance? The program deadline is not until 4/1/20 but I would like to know if I submit it now if I would hear back any time soon.

They no longer do rolling admissions so you won't be considered for admission until after the first deadline. It is in your interest to apply by the priority deadline, however.

I'm not sure exactly how you could best boost your application, aside from having most, if not all of the prerequisites completed and a high GPA. I wasn't really provided any feedback when accepted. It took 24 days from the priority deadline in Fall for me to get accepted.

I would recommend making sure you have a strong personal statement. If you had difficulties in the past with school, for example, make sure to address what you did to improve.

Also, if you have any questions or concerns, be sure to reach out to the advisors. Becca and Amy were both great and helped relieve some of the anxiety I felt during the application process lol ?
