I'm in my first semester of Nursing School and I don't know if anyone is as excited as I am but we just registered for our second semester calsses (Spring 2014) this past Monday. I'll be starting off with Mother/Baby (5 weeks), then Psych (5 weeks), and Med Surg. (5 weeks). It will be hectic but I look forward to the challenge and opportunity for growth.[/quote']Wow, only 5 weeks of each class? That must be intense. I have 16 weeks of Med/Surg I and 16 weeks of Mental Health for my 2nd (current) semester and 16 weeks of L&D and 16 weeks of Peds in 3rd semester. My 4th semester will be 10 weeks of MedSurg II followed by 6 weeks of preceptorship. I wouldn't mind only focusing on one class at a time, though. We do have one clinical shift a week per class (~8 hours per shift)
