Have you considered online classes?
I did the pre calc online during the Summer last year, but had to withdraw due to not being able to obtain a grade over a D. I am hoping to take the Stats class online and avoid the Precalc class. Plus taking an online Lifespan class.
If I can do that I be abla to apply to 5 programs st the end of the year instead of 3.
Not sure if a bad or good idea. So I signed up for Chem 1 and Pre Calc. The wifey told me she took Stats during the winter break fully online and felt was the only way she would of passed.
Thinking I like to take Lifespan in the Summer, but it's more affordable in the Fall. The professor for the Fall is one of the best from what I hear. Doing that again Pre Calc and Chem 1. Then Stats in the Winter. Then Chem 2 and probably a language for the Spring.
Having been a teacher/adjunct myself please take these reviews with caution. The reviews done by my students in class at my college fair far differently than those I've seen on rate my professor. I find the ones on rate my professor have been students who didn't show up to class regularly, did not come to any tutoring sessions offered, etc. As around and see if you can find anyone who recommends a professor.
Didn't want to clutter the front page. So I signed up for College Algebra it's a 12 to 2 class. I contacted the professor of the class who is contacting the Chair see if I can get by without taking it.
I am debating to take it Online. I did horrible with the class online. Not sure because it was summer and it was 4 chapters a week ha.

Had this plan to apply to a second round of nursing programs at the end of this year. However, hit a speed bump to my plan. The Chem I took for the community college is not at the level for the BSN program being it was only an Intro class. So now I am scrambling to figure out what is next.
So a few issues for the upcoming semester. I can take the next Chem class at my Community College. However, out of the Community Colleges in the State they require Pre-Calc to be taken with or before the class. I could take it at the other community colleges in the State, but I am looking at a 30 to 40 mile round trip depending where I go. I don't know if it is worth the drive and headache with traffic when I can just go down the road. I probably save money on gas.
Another issue is the ranks of the Chem and Math Professors on Rate My Professor are between 2 to 3.
It will be 12 to 13 credits where I probably only have enough funds for 10 or less credits.
I could take Math, Chem, and Lifespan. I can't take Stats, which would knock me out of one program.
In bit of a conundrum.
Any insight what I should do?
Anyone ever take a low ranked Professor on Rate My Professor and actually did well?
