My doctor just wrote N/A. She also couldn't do the vision portion. I'm just leaving it at that for now.

Let us know what you find out as I have another appointment on the 16th for my 2nd Hep B so if needed, I'll have her do it then.

Did you get all your books etc. yet? Has anyone completed their ATI testing? Anyone going to the workshops?

Is anyone bringing their skills kit for the first day?

You do not need your skills kit on the first day. The first day they go over your syllabus, calendar, books, what is expected of you, etc. On your calendar it will state when you need to bring certain items, including your skills kit. Good luck!

I've heard the same about Dr Menard at SPC. I cannot take his class due to my work schedule currently. We will see, maybe I'll change jobs by then. I am enrolling in micro this January.

My schedule is:

M 1-3 Clinical lecture

T 7-2:45 Clinical

W 7-2:45 Clinical

Th 8-11 Theory

Thank you for posting. I was a little nervous about being in class from 6 to 4, 4 days a week the first semester.

Is it true that you have to have a 3.85 to get in to the program now?

Erica1223 - for every semester it varies. I know the semester I got in the lowest was in the 3.6 range. That was over a year ago. Not sure how it is now, but its been known that spring is easier to get into than the fall. Don't feel like you have no chance just because of what is rumored!

My teacher yesterday told me I better have a back up plan or two because its so competitive to get in. She said the GPA requirement is at least a 3.85 now.

I was thinking in my head "wow" thanks for the support.... It makes me even more nervous now. This is my first semester and that means I would only be able to get maybe 2 B's to keep a GPA like that.lol I'm just venting now sorry :)
