Hi all,
I was looking for a post about SPC's fall 2020 nursing program and one hadn't been posted yet. So I figured I would make one. I know the application only opened a few days ago, so I might be getting a head of myself LOL. I applied early Saturday morning what about you guys?
Also, good luck to everyone!:)

Jusy out of curiousity how do you apply through Baycare? Is it part of SPC? Does it require different requirements? Is it for everyone?
I work for BayCare, they have a program in coordination with SPC where SPC adds a few cohorts (2 this semester) for BayCare employees. It is all of the same SPC requirements, plus there is an interview and your manager has to agree to being flexible with your work schedule. If accepted, your tuition is paid for (pending your being hired as a nurse and agreeing to work for two years after graduation) and our classes are all at our system office vs. at SPC, with clinicals at BayCare facilities. All BayCare employees are eligible to apply if you’re in good standing at work and have been in your position for at least 6 months! If you have any other questions, let me know!

Well I’ve also heard if you actually go into the bookstore, it’s more helpful and saves you money. They have a bundle listed on the bookstore website, but I hate how it doesn’t explain what comes with it. I just want to make sure I have everything.
Between the required books and the ATI books it’s a lot. Need a suitcase to bring them all. In the end you typically only use about 3 or 4 of them. I know I ended up buying the Davis drug guide book and the fundamentals success book.
If you buy the bundle in the bookstore that’s all you need. The rest is just extra
The bundle usually has the following: clinical reasoning(cases in nursing), nursing diagnosis handbook, medical-surgical or med surge for short, fundamentals of nursing, interpersonal relationships, strategies techniques approaches to critical thinking, and 3 other soft copy workbooks of the stated above
