SPC 2021 Fall Applicants

Published

Hey everyone! Looking for anyone else applying for SPC's Fall 2021 program ?

I know the open application period doesn't start till march 1st but I thought I would see if any one else is sharing the anxiety with me. LOL

Specializes in Nursing.

Hey everyone! I applied for the fall with all my pre-reqs completed and 3.89 GPA. I’m also a Pinellas county resident. I’m hoping to get accepted for the evening program. I work full-time and will need to adjust my work hours. I haven’t received any emails about the info seminar yet.

Hi everyone! I applied for SPC and USF St Pete and am a Pinellas county resident. I have an average pre req GPA of 3.6 which isn't the highest but I still hope to make it in. I don't really mind too much over what hours I get but I would prefer the morning classes if I end up getting in. I have a bachelors degree In health sciences and have worked as a medical assistant so I am hoping they are looking at multiple things. I did not receive any email yet about a seminar. I am having a hard time waiting for July 1st as we all probably are. I wish everyone good luck and vibes!

Yes I have a 3.6 as well and keeping my hopes up! Positive vibes ?
It has been hard just waiting to hear from them! LOL

Does anyone know when the program start day would be? Or when the orientation for last year was? Thanks, It's getting closer to July!

Hi!!

This is my first post. Super excited to get our decision letters!

Does anyone have access to what the acceptance letter looked like? Curious to see what we need to do before orientation.

August 16 is the first official day of the programme and you will immediately start lessons in class and prior to the starting of the program you have to get proof of vaccinations, flu shot, CPR certified etc. and submit it to castlebranch for verification. Plus, you need to purchase a uniform, textbooks, skills bag, blood pressure cuff, medical scissors, stethoscope, etc.

Yes. They will send an email to your college email and it will simply say that you have been accepted or not to the program. If accepted then you have to respond with a confirmation that you do indeed want to join the program ASAP.

Anyone hear anything about the seminar? Just want to make sure I don't miss it. (Hopefully I already didn't)

I get multiple emails from SPC about random things like registering for fall so I always get excited but I haven't seen one about a seminar yet. So I don't think you missed it, unless I did too.

Awesome!!

Thank you everyone for answering my questions. It has been super helpful. My last one is, does anyone know what days and nights schedules look like? For example, this time-this time certain days of the weeks. Looking to make sure I pick the right one!

Just found the answer to my own question. Oops!

what time of day is everyone looking to sign up for? Morning or nights?

We find out in about a week and a half whether we get accepted or not! ?

It doesn’t seem like there will be an info seminar this round since prior it was held almost a month before I think?

I haven’t thought about night or days because I’m just hoping I get in!
