Hi everyone! I wanted to make this thread for those who are applying for the SWC fall 2024 ADN program. Looks like their application style is all on paper! I'm almost ready to turn mine in. How many points are you guys coming in at? I have about 87 points if I did the math correctly. I'm not overly confident or anything because I was recently rejected from SDCC this cycle with ~84 points on their system. It's getting real competitive out here! Good luck to everyone!

Whhhaaat? I had 87 at most. I wonder if they gave me an extra point somewhere. 88 is insane competition. I think every year the bar will keep going up.

They ask us which class we prefer but if a lot of people for example want the morning class, some will go to the night class. So they try to respect your preference but it is also random.

Awww sorry to hear you got denied, but it's good you got into grossmont that's a hard program to get into.

For your first semester for the first two months you will have class 3-4 times per week 8-4pm (They want you to learn all the skills before you start your clinical rotation). After that, you will have lectures on Tuesdays (4-5hrs of lecture) plus your clinical day (12hrs shift). You will also have sim lab which is two random days in the semester (8-4pm)
