Southwestern College (SWC) - Fall 2024 (ADN)

Hi everyone! I wanted to make this thread for those who are applying for the SWC fall 2024 ADN program. Looks like their application style is all on paper! I'm almost ready to turn mine in. How many points are you guys coming in at? I have about 87 points if I did the math correctly. I'm not overly confident or anything because I was recently rejected from SDCC this cycle with ~84 points on their system. It's getting real competitive out here! Good luck to everyone!

Nothing yet ! I called again today and she said we're going to receive an email regardless .

I still haven't received anything either. Hoping it arrives next week so I can make a decision between grossmont and southwestern.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a TEAS tutor in SD Area? I utilize Smart Edition but feel like I need an extra push just in case! 

It's so competitive and I think the only way to better chances are with a HIGH TEAS score.

Which would you choose if you got in to both? Curious to know which you/everyone prefers/why?

I would pick southwestern just because they offer the night classes. I have a full time job and the night classes would work better with my schedule. Also just from looking at the class schedule it looks like the night classes are only 3 times a week I believe, whereas grossmont it's 4-5 days a week.

Where did you find the schedules!? I've been looking and I swear I've seen them before but can't find them now.

I just look through the class search on webadvisor to see schedules. Also, on the ADN section of the college website they also provide what classes will be taken each semester.
