I just wanted to start a topic for this upcoming Southwestern ADN cohort (Fall 2018)! What are everyone's stats? (GPA, Teas, etc). I'm also applying at San Diego City, Palomar College, Grossmont and National University.
The CNA license is worth 25 points - you need it. Think they may even require it now. You can get it for free at San Diego Continuing Education. We jump right in to learning nursing skills - so already knowing the CNA skills is necessary since they're not taught. Plus, you will probably want to get a job at a hospital with the CNA license as well. Best of luck!

Hello all! I hope someone sees & replies to this. I was just in for my SEP meeting and I was essentially told that if I don't have my CNA or LVN license that I would not get in. I wanted to know how many people in the cohort have their CNA or LVN? Is it worth my time & effort to apply to the ADN program without it? Thank you!!
