Southwestern College ADN Fall 2018 Cohort

I just wanted to start a topic for this upcoming Southwestern ADN cohort (Fall 2018)! What are everyone's stats? (GPA, Teas, etc). I'm also applying at San Diego City, Palomar College, Grossmont and National University.

I hope they let you know right after orientation!

Seriously or before to! Hey by chance when was your guys deadline to accept/decline your seat?

I know is nerve racking :( So we have to wait until orientation to know if we got in??

I hope we get in ������������

ughhhh Yes , that's what the lady said who I spoke over the phone with. The wait is killing me :( Hopefully they still send out emails before orientation. Fingers crossed for both of us!

I got one yesterday but that's because in the email I sent I asked her to please let me know if she received my email.

I didn't have to call them because they called me today, I am in guys!!!! Oh my goodness I am beyond excited. I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation!!

Omg congrats!!! Do you mind me asking how many points you had? I hope I'm not too far down on the list :( did they send you an acceptance letter?

Thank you! I am not sure about the points since I had some that had to be approved I'm thinking I was between 74-76. I still have not received an acceptance letter, it was a verbal over phone and then I was asked to send them an email accepting.

What a dream come true! Then that must mean I'm not to far behind you bc I have the same amount of points. I think you and I have the same grades too xD I hope to get in this fall :( I will keep hoping for the best

Orientation this week ! Anyone who is in the program or knows someone, that can give an idea of what goes on in orientation? Is that where we will be given the information on our schedule, screening date, cost of the program or financial aid info! I'm exited to meet everyone !

Hello. Congrats to all who are in!

Those on waitlist can get in up until the first day of class. If seats become available they take from the waitlist. Maybe people get into another school, or something happens personally and choose to wait

You will request days Or weekends and evenings (w/e) at orientation. Get book list and other required purchases. Hear about summer class offered.

No one ever talked to me about financial aid. I would contact the financial aid office. Well, maybe financial aid was there. I don't remember. Bring pen and paper to take notes.

Your school schedule won't be finalized until closer to school. First 2 weeks of class try to get off work. They add time in class those weeks because you have to learn assessment and be tested on it. You will learn more at orientation :)
