Hi nikkih901. Would you mind sharing your 1st semester experience if you did the night/weekend program. Is there anything that stands out that you wish you would have known before hand? Did you work, have family responsibilities, etc? Your input is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Thanks sooo much. I'll definitely take your advice on that! I've already planned a family vacation for a couple days after exam season, just in case I do get in. I'm sure it's rough and will need to make up for lost time. Thanks for your input. Good Luck on becoming a clinical instructor. It would be really cool to learn from others whom shared your same journey previously.

That's depressing. I might as well prepare myself for rejection. No way I'm getting in. I got all B's in AP1, AP2, & Micro. Best of luck to you ladies. I look forward to hearing all about Nursing school once you guys are accepted.

Please do not get discouraged! I have known many that have gotten in with C's. It really isn't something we could possibly know. We all have a chance! Stay optimistic :)

Don't get discouraged @MsReed10, getting in nursing school is competitive but you have to stay positive. You never know what will work in your favor. Did you apply any were else?
@Nurse_78, I only applied for SWTCC as they have the night program and I'd rather get my RN before moving on to the BSN. I achieved a decent score on the NLN (132) but those Bs have killed me. I did include 2 letters of recommendation, one being from my AP1 teacher but I doubt it'll be enough. I guess time will tell. I will reapply for Fall.

Stay positive MsReed. You have worked hard to get to this point!
@Msreed10, you have to be strong. You can't just look at numbers and rule yourself out. B/c your index score isn't as high as others doesn't eliminate you. You scored very high on NLN, although you have B's in science you worked hard to get them. It doesn't mean you won't make a great Nursing student. Out of 300 people (just my opinion) half of those people probably haven't finished there prerequisites. Hold your head high and PLEASE keep your options open.
Thanks you guys. I appreciate your kind words.
